British Violinist Greg Scott was discovered by Music Producer Pete Waterman leading to performances around the world. As heard on Classic FM Radio Station, Greg’s recording of ‘Ashokan Farewell’, sent his debut album ‘DUEL’ straight to No.1 in the UK Classical Album Charts.
A Concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall soon followed for Classic Response together with other well known artists. A year later, Greg was asked to perform 2 Concerts with The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in Asia. “Its been a busy couple of years” says Greg, “but I still practice every day.”
Greg began his career as a violinist with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra after graduating from Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester and RNCM. ”You have to work really hard to be a professional musician” says Greg “but it’s worth it in the end. Working with Pete Waterman is the best opportunity anyone could ask for – but he still won’t make me a cup of tea.”
